DISTANCE EDUCATION CALENDAR

Distance education is a flexible way to get a college education. You can continue to work full or part-time, parent and participate in community activities, all while working towards a college credential. Assiniboine Community College is a leader in distance education.

Distance education students and their instructors participate in virtual learning environments that are open seven days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The college delivers complete course packages and support materials right to your home.

You decide when and where you want to study. Telephone conferencing and Internet resources provide additional contact and support. This means that no matter where you are in the world, you can study at ACC.

Our dedicated instructors are available by phone or email, or online to answer questions and provide feedback.

You must successfully complete and meet all program requirements within five years. We recognize that when you take a program by distance delivery, you may need additional time to complete the program. In this case, you may request an extension to the five-year period. The chairperson or dean, in consultation with the registrar, must approve all extensions to program completion times.

Assiniboine Community College is proud to be a leader in distance education. We don’t just offer individual courses—we offer complete diplomas and certificates through distance education. We also offer two advanced diplomas. Check out these exciting programs offered by distance:
