Organic Inspector courses provide training for persons who wish to become Organic Crop Inspectors, Organic Livestock Inspectors or Organic Processing Inspectors. All courses have a 4.5 day classroom format which includes an exam.
Topics include organic standards and permitted materials, inspection procedures and development of inspection reports, elements of the audit trail and its review, determination of contamination and pest management, national and international organic products regulations, and aspects of communication and confidentiality in working as an inspector.
